This tour will take you to a grave site where you can find cross stones dating back to 9th and10th centuries.
These cross stones are pieces of artwork so delicate that you will be amazed by their beauty and delicacy, especially by those carved from huge stones in various different colors.
The next stop of this tour will take you even further into history to 3rd to 1st millenia B.C. This stop contains the ruins of a fortress with walls as thick as 3 to 4 meters made from basalt. It is located near the village of Ljashen at the shores of Lake Sevan, one of the highest and largest lakes in Europe.
