Grape Blessing

This religious holiday entails the blessing of the grapes, dating back to the pre-Christian time when the first harvest of the grapes was offered to the goddess of fertility and motherhood Anahid.
After the ceremony you could head to any vineyard nearby (organized by your local tour agency). Pick up the baskets and fill them with grapes and drive to a cellar, where you could mix the blessed grapes from the cathedral with those in barrel and see pressing the grapes in the old fashioned way by bare feet.
You could take part in wine making process. It is an unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
